PE will be on a Wednesday and Thursday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on their PE day.
Drinks & Snacks
Please ensure that your child brings a drink of water (not fruit drinks or squash) to school each day. This needs to be in a labelled bottle that we can keep in the classroom which can be accessed during the day.
Please send your child to school with a healthy snack for morning break.
Homework
Homework will be set on a Friday. The children will bring home a list of spellings to learn and will have an assignment to complete on Spelling Shed. They will also be expected to practise their times tables recall on Mathsframe multiplication check.

Reading
It is important that you read with your child at least 5 times a week.
To support your child at home with their reading you could use lots of different questioning techniques. Asking your child to repeat/ summarise what they have read or picking specific events in the book to talk about will help you to understand what they have learnt. You can find lots of example questions to ask your child below.
