Class information

PE will be on a Wednesday and Friday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on their PE day.

Drinks & Snacks

Please ensure that your child brings a drink of water (not fruit drinks or squash) to school each day. This needs to be in a labelled bottle that we can keep in the classroom which can be accessed during the day.

Please send your child to school with a healthy snack for morning break.

Homework

Homework will be set on a Friday. The children have an assignment to complete on Spelling Shed.

Reading

It is important that you read with your child at least 5 times a week.

To support your child at home with their reading you could use lots of different questioning techniques. Asking your child to repeat/ summarise what they have read or picking specific events in the book to talk about will help you to understand what they have learnt.
