Class information

PE

PE will be taught on a Friday afternoon by Miss Monk. Children should come dressed in their PE kit on this day.

Drinks and fruit

Please ensure that your child brings a drink of water to school each day. This needs to be in a labelled bottle that we can keep in the classroom which can be accessed during the day.

Your child will receive a piece of fruit during morning break.

Homework

Homework will be set on a Friday via email. this includes:

• Reading
• Numbots
• Spelling

Reading

Reading practice books will be sent home on a Wednesday and will need to be returned by the following Monday. This book will be at the correct phonic stage for your child. They should be able to read this fluently and independently.

Your child will choose and bring sharing books home. They will not be able to read this on their own. This book is for you both to read and enjoy together.
